Liability Disclaimer — 4x4Electech
4x4Electech operates with a high-performance service ethic, but we cannot be held liable for any loss or damage to products transported via third-party courier services. We package all orders with due care; however, once goods leave our premises, responsibility for safe delivery transfers to the courier and the customer.
4x4Electech accepts no liability for theft, loss, or damage occurring between dispatch and final delivery.
In the event of fire, accident, or any unforeseen circumstance beyond our operational control — including incidents arising after installation — 4x4Electech will not be responsible for any associated loss or damage. By placing an order, you acknowledge and accept these conditions.
Important Notes
-
Solar panels are shipped strictly at the customer’s own risk. Most couriers do not insure glass-based products. Any breakage, impact damage, or transit-related issues fall outside our responsibility.
-
Gel batteries are non-returnable once used. No exceptions.
Warranty Conditions
To activate and maintain warranty coverage on inverters and batteries, the installation must be executed by a qualified electrical wireman or Master Electrician with valid Department of Labour registration. A Certificate of Compliance (COC) specific to the backup/solar installation is mandatory. All work must comply with SANS 10142 standards.
Warranty claims without installation photos, a valid COC, and proof of a qualified installer may be rejected and will render the claim void.
